Many vacation-goers race past the beautiful Nord-Pas-de-Calais on their way south, never bothering to stop and explore everything it has to offer. A shame, because this stunning region in the north of France boasts so much more than its magnificent beaches and seaside resorts. There's also unspoilt countrysides, rich history and culture, fantastic beer, and great food!
