DUTCH, the magazine

The latest issue of DUTCH, the magazine is now available!
It's my first issue as the magazine's Editor-in-Chief, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results or proud of our wonderfully talented team!
In this issue, we travel to Volendam (home of eel and the very popular Dutch 'Eel Sound' music), learn about the roots of Walt Whitman, discover the hauntingly beautiful work of Jo Hedwig Teeuwisse, visit the Dam Square in Amsterdam, and much more! As usual, you'll find great recipes by our food writer, Nicole Holten (care for a waffle?), a brilliant comic strip by Stuart Billinghurst, and interesting columns (welcome to our newest columnist, Dutch writer Gerrit Jan Groothedde).
We are also delighted and honored because one of the greats of Dutch literature, Leo Vroman, wrote a poem especially for us! I had to pinch myself every time I found a message from him in my mailbox. I am so deeply touched by his generosity -- such an inspiring man.
Many thanks to all those who helped make this issue great!
