La Cure Gourmande

I adore nostalgic decors. Peonies, toile de jouy, lace, old white-washed wood, lavender. Anything that screams the romance of times gone by. You can imagine my delight when I discovered La Cure Gourmande in Brussels last weekend- a shop that totally stole my heart!
Passing by, it was hard not to notice its colorful, antique-style facade. The happy shades of yellow, soft pastels and details of Burgundy literally pulled me inside and instantly made me fall in love. I imagined this was probably the kind of candy shop that my grandmother would've visited as a young girl. A sweet place full of charm where life is always delicious!
There were huge mounds of buttery cookies in every shape and size, an astonishing variety of candies, mountains made entirely of lollipops and of course, beautiful chocolates. I don't know what I loved more, the actual products or the atmosphere in the shop. Both, I suppose, because the chocolates I bought were sublime (as you can see from the box in the photo below).
La Cure Gourmande has branches in France and Spain, so if you're like me and are a sucker for sweet and beautiful, stop by!

Love that store! Got a chance to discover it last year while visiting. Just the boxes alone cost the price. And the cookies are surprisingly delicious.

Hi!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :) Everything looked so delicious. And yes, pricy! But the boxes are very pretty.

Ah, I stumbled across that store in Strasbourg! Like you, I loved the look of the store and the pretty tins, biscuits and packaging! Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed with the biscuits - quite dry and the almond ones were super strong. I think I should have stuck to the choccies! They look gorgeous!
